With terror striking India again, it leaves me depressed, handicapped and even thinking. Oberoi, Taj are places where security is high compared to CST and Nariman House. How the hell can these bunch of brain washed, kill in the name of God freaks enter these places with grenades and AK-47s? The intelligence had warned the govt but our great politicians had other important things to consider I guess at that time and now will indulge in playing the blame-game. The common man is the one suffering the most and I think we should be the ones to punish these terrorists rather than having them as liabilities in our jails and wait to be fucked by their fellow group members in the future. With 101 people dead and 280+ injured the politicians and the world can only condemn the incident.
There are people who have been unaffected by the incident. Last night when I called my friends back home to check if they were safe, some of them were drinking and enjoying their night and thanking God as they were still alive and not amongst the ones dead. How ridiculous is this..!! I don’t think it’s the right time to enjoy or be happy on the basis of someone else’s sorrow/plight??
In the past 3years India has lost about thousands of lives due to terrorist attacks. After 9/11, US had no terrorist attacks and WE, we are just convincing ourselves each day to adjust with the situation. I don’t understand why are we being the products of circumstances rather than standing up against the situation and uniting to fight it and being the products of our own choices and decisions.

I wake up in the morning and see no changes. I gently unfold the newspaper and read about the terror and blast. I read that some ministers are resigning and some have been shown the door. But this ain't a solution! The need of the hour is to realize how common men like us become war mongers and blood thirsty? We all have heard and read about the 'madrasas', haven't we? In a 'madrasa', a person is inculcated with the belief that a patriot to one is a terrorist to another. Let us cough out the hatred for them and think little deeply. Every human being is fallible and so are they. They eat, sleep and live on the belief that they are God's angels and they are carrying out His divine orders only to save their community. So if we, the educated people, think little maturely and rationally, it won't be hard to understand that a criminal (terrorist) is actualy a victim himself. It is therefore not necessary to kill the person but to change his thinking process. It is important to identify those black nests which transform a common man to a killer and deactivate them.
Today all I see is misplaced hates and racist faces. Our own parents forbid us from attaching a bond to a Muslim fellow. Being a Hindu, it is still a big deal to marry a Muslim. And a time will come when we will fit in the shoes of our parents and pass on the same learnings to the coming generations. Aren't we running a 'madrasa' in every household? We reap what we sow, remember? It is no more a secret so let's not conceal the fact. The time has come to share the feeling of brotherhood and let’s retain the fond memories in our mind and erases the waste. It is time for us as people to start making some changes. Let's change the way we eat, feel and live. Let's change the way we treat each other. We need to change ourselves to survive. Let's take the evil out of people and heal the wounded world with love. Let's settle for nothing but little peace and put an end to the wars on the streets and in the Middle East. Let's finish the war on religion and initiate a move against poverty and global warming. The world is full of scars depicting hate, anger, fury and wrath and these scars are burning and ripping us apart from each other. Let's not be averse to this excruciating pain and instead of being in the state of anonymity, let's stand united for once and fight as a singular body.
How I wish to sleep and wake up to the days when we played as kids. The nascent mind was devoid of religion, money, fame and power but filled up with love, compassion, friendship and empathy. The world was a place where everyone I met was a friend instead of a distant stranger. It was a time when trust was easy and hate was difficult to find. People tell me it's a useless dream and that things have changed. The world has changed. But the question is has the world changed or are we thinking in the wrong direction?
