"They watched him Die"..

“Ministers Watch As Cop Dies” was the headline on every newspaper and was a Big story on news channels. According to the Media, the cop was crying for help, but the MLA’s were too scared to help.

For better understanding of the entire story follow the link below: http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/videos/news/Cop-attacked-on-road-ministers-stare-from-cars/videoshow/5424415.cms

Too scared to Help?

Scared to help a dying Man?

These are the questions raised by the Media.

“They Watched him Die” is what the Media has to say regarding the entire crying-watching-dying act.

But can I ask something.. Who is this ‘They’???? Wasn’t the Media present there?? Weren’t there any trespassers passing by??

Well I can see a few of them in the Video.

My entire point here is, that if We as laymen and as journalists can watch somebody cry for help and not provide any, resulting in death; aren’t we equally responsible?

Is a journalists job to just report news (I mean NEWS literally and not what’s happening inside BigBoss house and Rakhi Sawant’s Life)? If yes (as per what they did in this situation) then why question the MLA’s?? Why do we always want somebody else to do the right thing?

If We, as citizens of India, as the Citizens of this World; understand the responsibility of being a Human and learn the norms of the Humanity Society, I don’t think there will be any room for such deaths, such news.

If I understand my responsibility towards my country and towards my people, the entire problem is solved. As then I will not blame the MLA’s or the Cops or the system or my parents in that matter, I will blame myself! As I am what I do to others and others are what I do to them. Period.

very well written. And insult to injury, they telecast the man with an amputed leg on television. They might have blurred the image but it's still gawdy. how unsympathetic and atrocious!
