mumbai massacre..!!

With terror striking India again, it leaves me depressed, handicapped and even thinking. Oberoi, Taj are places where security is high compared to CST and Nariman House. How the hell can these bunch of brain washed, kill in the name of God freaks enter these places with grenades and AK-47s? The intelligence had warned the govt but our great politicians had other important things to consider I guess at that time and now will indulge in playing the blame-game. The common man is the one suffering the most and I think we should be the ones to punish these terrorists rather than having them as liabilities in our jails and wait to be fucked by their fellow group members in the future. With 101 people dead and 280+ injured the politicians and the world can only condemn the incident.
There are people who have been unaffected by the incident. Last night when I called my friends back home to check if they were safe, some of them were drinking and enjoying their night and thanking God as they were still alive and not amongst the ones dead. How ridiculous is this..!! I don’t think it’s the right time to enjoy or be happy on the basis of someone else’s sorrow/plight??
In the past 3years India has lost about thousands of lives due to terrorist attacks. After 9/11, US had no terrorist attacks and WE, we are just convincing ourselves each day to adjust with the situation. I don’t understand why are we being the products of circumstances rather than standing up against the situation and uniting to fight it and being the products of our own choices and decisions.

Present

I often realize that, I waste a lot of my time thinking about the past. Thinking of how I could have changed my actions, could have spoken different words (maybe more bitter) or could have handled the situation with love and understanding. Or probably I am thinking about my future. Always running an imaginary video in my head about tomorrow (mostly the way I want it to be). Sometimes I even have negative thoughts about the future. And in the end I somewhere regret that in this process of past corrections and future assumptions I barely concentrate on my present.
What’s the whole point in re-living the past (in a different manner or maybe similar way at times) and busy demonstrating the future (where everything is just perfect) and ending up losing every second of my present. . .?
I pray to God to help me never forget about the wonderful gift He has given me i.e. Present and help me make the most out of it.

The Recession contd...

Today in class, while we discussed about the financial crisis, I learnt something new which will throw light on the aspect i have spoken about in my previous post.
We all have heard the story of a Goose that started laying eggs of Gold, and its master in the fit of greed killed it thinking he would get a lot of gold eggs from it's stomach. But unfortunately his greed resulted in him losing the goose and the gold eggs too forever. Similarly, the corporate world today only believes in killing the goose rather than being patient and utilizing the resource day after day and time after time. If every entrepreneur had paid attention while the story was being told in school and had learnt the consequences of greed, I am sure this situation wouldn’t have occurred. The recession that has taken place in the minds, principles and morals of humans has led to the recession we are facing today. If we wouldn’t have lived and chosen ‘the big fish eats the small fish’ theory for survival, today would have been a happy time. Every situation is a result of an action. No recession in humanity assures No recession of any kind. We change our minds, our actions, the tomorrow is going to be better for sure and I can bet the future generations will never face recession. It will be a history that will never repeat itself.

The Recession

The world has been hit by recession. Everyone is tensed about what the recession is going to bring along and how is it going to change the world. We see financial experts and economists as the panellists discussing about tomorrow. The depression is what we all are worried about. But how come nobody ever cared about the major depressions present in people’s lives? How come the recession in humanity doesn’t get everyone worried? ‘The money’ is what all of us think, want, live. Everyone wants to know how to make money, more money and more and more money. Nobody wants to think of ways of reducing the gap between humans, think about building new relations rather than destroying the old ones and try making life worth living. We humans today are in a race; each one is trying to survive the competition. While we are busy trying, we lose people who are there for us, we lose our morals, in worst cases we even lose ourselves.
Is it that we don’t have the time to think about all this or have we just lost our conscious?
