How well do we use our Power of Thinking?

It’s wonderful to be back to the place where you have lived your childhood days. And it’s even more amazing to meet even a few of them who have been a part of those days.
Recently when I met a few people back from my school days, I realized that I was carrying a heavy baggage; which was similar to my heavy school bag with the only difference that this bag was on my mind and not on my shoulders.
When I met someone, my perception about that person was being influenced by the memory of the past.
I thought to myself that having this sort of a perception is quite natural, because that’s how everyone does think. Right?
But then I even realized that with time people change, every second a new thought a new feeling takes birth in our minds, then how can I let my past experience judge the person today?
Letting the past incidents take over the present creates a cover on my eyes and mind, and this cover does not let me see people the way they are, the way they have grown, the way they have evolved. This extra heavy baggage on my mind will not affect others, but is an obstacle in my own development.
Now that I know the problem, I start finding for solutions!
And what I found is—To Use my power of Thinking effectively and not let my past experiences influence my perception today. Not see the other with the extra baggage on, but with an empty bag to be filled for that moment. And to remember to empty the bag every time!
This power helps mw see the other in a better way, in the right way, the way he/she is at present. it’s definitely going to contribute in my own overall development while making me feel happy throughout…!! :)
